Siobhan Thorne-Allen
A South African who has recently made Aotearoa her home, she brings with her the spirit of Ubuntu – an African principle that means, ‘I am because we are.’ This philosophy reflects her deeply held belief in the power of community, collaboration, and strong relationships.
What began as an unintentional journey into recruitment has grown into a true calling: everything related to people. With over two decades of experience, she has developed a deep understanding of what it takes to support teams, empower individuals, foster strong relationships, and create an environment where people thrive.
Outside of work, she’s all about family. Whether she’s on the sidelines of the football field cheering for her goalkeeper son, hiking or mountain biking with her husband, or enjoying a picnic, her loved ones are at the centre of her world. Even the family dog, Richie (named after the one and only Richie McCaw), made the trip to New Zealand and keeps her busy in her downtime.
