An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transfer Pricing specialist to join a leading consulting firm as they expand their Tax presence across the New Zealand market.

Our client is seeking experienced Tax Manager/Senior Manager to join their Transfer Pricing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working within the firm's global network to provide holistic transfer pricing advice. This involves coordinating with international colleagues to ensure advice is tailored to meet both local and multi-jurisdictional tax requirements.
• Regular client interaction to understand their business operations, transfer pricing needs and risk exposures. This requires getting involved with clients at a strategic level, not just in a technical capacity
• Assisting with dispute resolution and Advance Pricing Arrangement (APA) application to help with responses to Inland Revenue (NZ Tax office)
• You will be responsible for preparing transfer pricing reports that comply with New Zealand's legislation and international guidelines. This includes quantitative analysis of intercompany transactions
• You will work with senior team members to respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner. This could involve clarifying complex transfer pricing concepts, discussing audit risks, or reviewing proposed intercompany arrangements.
• Continuous learning and adaptation with regards to Transfer Pricing and international guidelines

Ideal Candidate

• Four or more years of transfer pricing and international tax experience in a professional services environment
• Hands on experience with tax compliance, tax advisory or tax planning related to both domestic and international tax matters
• Experience with complex tax issues
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Relevant qualifications (Accounting or Finance degree)
