They have all of the trappings of a corporate but have an incredibly approachable and relaxed leadership team.
Due to their scale and listed status, they have significant sustainability reporting requirements. They would also like this person to get involved in new business initiatives (e.g. acquisitions, helping to build business cases, etc).
About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the CFO and General Manager of Strategy, providing vital financial insights to drive business decisions. You'll support investor relations, manage sustainability reporting, and maintain critical financial models. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven analyst to contribute to strategic planning while gaining exposure to key areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support investor relations and own sustainability reporting
- Develop and enhance financial and valuation models
- Prepare reports for the Board, executive management, and stakeholders
- Conduct financial analysis on key performance indicators
- Research market trends and monitor developments
- Assist in collecting and preparing emissions data for sustainability reporting
This role suits someone who is likely in a professional services firm that has had significant exposure to sustainability reporting (e.g. big4, mid-tier, etc). Ideally, you'll have a professional qualification in accounting too. Alternatively you may have had exposure to this in a listed business.
Importantly they are seeking someone who is genuinely passionate about the sustainability/ESG space.
