Are you passionate about providing exceptional IT support? We're looking for an up and coming IT Service Desk Engineer to join our clients Technology team. You'll be the first point of contact for IT support, responsible for troubleshooting issues, managing IT assets, and supporting various projects to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 incidents, service requests, and ITSM tasks.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and configurations.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant team members while ensuring timely updates.
- Track and document progress and provide update to users; resolving in a timely manner and documenting the resolution in the
ITSM system. - Create and update knowledge base articles and process templates.
- Support governance audits, compliance checks, and project success.
- Stay informed about emerging IT trends and contribute to process improvements.
- Tertiary-level certification or diploma in IT (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of practical helpdesk experience with strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Entra ID, access management tools, cloud technologies, and ITIL practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of hardware, software, and relevant call-tracking tools.
