About the Role
This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and timely reporting of financial ledgers, enabling sound decision-making across the business. Working closely with the finance team and operational teams, you’ll be responsible for overseeing financial processes, including reporting and variance analysis. The role offers a collaborative environment with the opportunity to influence process improvements and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage periodic reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Perform costing system reviews and identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with operational teams to drive process efficiency and profitability.
- Assist with preparing financial statements and maintaining compliance with NZ IFRS.
- Provide sales and margin analysis using weekly KPI reports.
To be considered for this role you will need to be CA/CPA qualified with 5 years post qualification experience. You will have worked in complex commercial business environments and you will be proficient in MS Excel. Experience using Microsoft D365 would be a real advantage as well as any exposure to Power BI. You will have great attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and you will have a passion for process improvements.
