About the Role

Sitting within the Finance Optimisation team, this role is critical in shaping and managing finance reporting and data systems. You’ll develop strategy, enhance reporting frameworks, and drive system adoption to ensure finance processes deliver meaningful insights. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise financial data management and support business performance. Although the role doesn't have direct people leadership, you will be a thought leader and you will take the lead on various projects within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Finance Reporting and Data Strategy and Roadmap.
• Oversee delivery and support of reporting and data systems and processes.
• Establish and uphold finance reporting and data policies and procedures.
• Champion continuous improvement by optimising workflows and user experience.
• Collaborate with finance, technology, and business teams to align strategies.
• Drive implementation and adoption of reporting and data systems.
• Manage financial master data (including FDM) for accuracy and efficiency.

So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?

• CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or a relevant business/information systems qualification. A background in finance is needed so that you are able to understand finance processes and ways of working.
• 6 years post-qualified experience in finance systems or accounting.
• If you have prior experience using Workday or Prism that would be a definite advantage.
• Strong storytelling ability to communicate financial systems and processes.
• Expertise in financial reporting, data controls, and AI-driven tools.
• Proven understanding of financial management and IT applications.
• Project management experience in business systems and change initiatives.
• Skilled in indirect leadership and influencing key stakeholders.
• Experience in business systems support functions.
