Our client is a growing company in the services sector, who have been undertaking strategic expansion and acquisition efforts. With a recent focus on modernising their finance function, they are implementing new systems and establishing a new Finance Business Partnering/FP&A function.
About the Role:
This role is crucial for setting up and enhancing the company's reporting and data systems, paving the way for future BI initiatives. You'll work closely with the CFO and Finance Business Partners to build, automate, and optimize reporting processes. The position offers the potential for a long-term role, with future projects in dynamic pricing and other strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve reporting systems and data setups.
- Automate financial reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and wider operations teams to align reporting with business needs.
- Assist in future BI projects, laying the groundwork for advanced analytics.
- Ideally you will be fully qualified (CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or working your way towards a qualification
- Expertise in financial reporting and data automation.
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with finance and non-finance teams.
- If you have a strong commercial background and want to continue on your path towards either data/BI or a full Finance Business Partner this role is ideal

- Hourly rate dependant on experience but likely c.$50-60 GST per hour
