Some More Information About The Role
You will be a key player in the Finance Optimisation Squad, working on refining and enhancing financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities. This squad ensures that financial data is meaningful, actionable, and supports business performance.
Your role will involve working closely with finance teams and business leaders to optimise processes, analyse data, and deliver insights that support strategic decision-making. You will also manage and improve financial reports within the Finance module, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Finance Optimisation Lead to deliver the Finance Optimisation Strategy and Roadmap.
- Enhance reporting capabilities across finance and the broader business, including report creation, curation, and dashboard development.
- Ensure data integrity and conduct periodic audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for key stakeholders.
- Support system and process refinements, backlog delivery, and testing of new releases.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and optimising workflows.
- Provide end-user support, including troubleshooting issues and resolving reporting defects.
- Assist in broader company-wide finance and system projects as required.
You are a detail-oriented finance professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for optimising processes and systems. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive on solving complex financial challenges.
What You Bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems.
- 5 years’ experience in business analysis, finance systems, or big data analytics.
- Strong understanding of business systems support functions.
- Proven experience handling large datasets and performing complex financial analyses.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear insights.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
