This NZX-listed business has grown significantly over recent years and now holds the biggest market share in their industry. Providing a number of services to their large customer base including retail, healthcare and other services. What are we looking for?
  
Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a dynamic and driven Finance Manager to work in this high performing NZX listed business. You’ll be responsible for leading the finance function for the pharmacy division of the business, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Key stakeholders include the GM, Head of Group Finance, CFO, and the rest of SLT. We are looking for a technically strong, ideally Big 4 trained CA/CPA qualified accountant who has proven experience in the commercial world, including staff management experience. 
  
Main duties of the role...
  • Leading and developing a growing finance team (5 direct reports which include a mix of accountants and assistant accountants)
  • Business Partnering across the group
  • Provide analysis and commercially sound commentary and insight on monthly performance
  • Continuous operational improvements
  • Monthly reporting and consolidations
  • Presentation of divisional results to CFO and CEO
  • M&A accounting
  • Analysis of year-end financial accounts
  • Ensuring all tax and statutory returns are completed on time
Who are you and what is your profile?
  
To be considered for this role we are looking for a technically competent CA/CPA qualified accountant, Big 4 trained or commercially trained with complex group structure experience. We are looking for someone who has good experience across process and operational improvements, with proven leadership and business partnering experience. A background in either retail or multi-site environments would also be a key advantage for this role.
