This locally owned and operated business prides themselves on providing the best products and services to its residential and commercial clients. With over 40 years in the industry, they are specialist in their field.
With an office based near the on/off ramps of the North Western motorway, this convenient West Auckland location is great.
About The Role
Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the office team and be the go-to accounts person for the business. This is broad, sole charge role to help cover while their current Accountant takes leave over Sept/Oct.
Key responsibilities include:
- Payroll for 25 staff (weekly & monthly)
- Bank reconciliations
- Month end reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany transactions
- Billing & Payment queries
- Adhoc reporting and analyst
So who are you and what is your profile
This is the ideal role for someone who has operated at Company/Financial Accountant level before, you will have experience across all aspects of financial accounting and will be happy and comfortable to take ownership of the full day to day finance functions. If you have worked in a trades or contractor environment previously then that will also be an advantage. Experience with Xero plus.
Key to your success will be your ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders from both inside and outside the business. Strong communication and analytical skills are a must for this role.
