About the Company
Our client is a well recognised and respected charitable organisation that helps children and their families across Aotearoa. Joining this business you would know you would be making a positive impact on people. You would be joining a finance team of five.
About the Role
Reporting to the supportive Finance Manager, you will be dealing with high volumes and be processing 1,000 invoices monthly. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable
- Expense allocations
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with P&L reporting
- Maintain general ledger and reconciliation of balance sheet and manage journal entries and monthly accruals
- Manage the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices
- Support the Finance Manager with weekly cash flow reporting
- Assist with year-end reporting and the external audit process
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- You will have 3 years experience processing 800 monthly invoices
- Xero experience is a must
- ApprovalMax experience preferred
- A genuine interest in charitable and NFP organisations is desirable
