About the Role:
As an Android Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge software for the NEON platform, bridging hardware and software to create exceptional experiences for boaters. This position requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and a focus on system performance and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust and maintainable Android software components.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, specify, and test new features.
- Continuously discover and integrate innovative technologies.
- Contribute to system performance and user experience improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and Android framework.
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative team environments.
- Embedded software development in C is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux kernel development and hardware bring-up preferred.
